Angel has said her penchant for going raw and naked in the BBNaija Shine Ya Eyes House was a strategy she adopted to gain advantage.Speaking in an interview with Toke Makinwa on The Buzz, Angel revealed that she wasn’t bothered by the negative comments she came to meet outside since her real value is not placed on her body.
She said: “I’m comfortable with anything, I’m comfortable in my body I don’t ascribe my value to what they look at. It was a communal bathroom, every other person was shy but I don’t really care if you see me naked, I don’t place my value in my nakedness, my value is in so many other places, I know I’m smart, I know I’m funny and I’m fine.”
Angel who placed 4th in the competition stated that she could rate guys based on what she saw in the shower. She spoke about her attraction to fellow housemates, and love-interest, Cross, insisting that she genuinely likes him.
She said; “To be honest, I do like Cross, I told him that he’s weird and I’m kind of weird as well it takes two weird people to understand each other. He is also funny and I like funny guys so and the chemistry is there I won’t lie.”
On the same platform, she also said she never made the first move on Emmanuel contrary to the widespread perception. Angel who ‘defied all odds’ and got to the final of the Shine Ya Eyes competition told media personality Toke it was Emmanuel who started flirting with her before she reciprocated.
Angel she claimed that he first asked her for a kiss during one of their parties in the house. According to her, she needed to make the clarification because after she got hold of a phone upon her exit from the house, she saw social media comments stating that she started flirting with him first.
