William Ruto crosses 7M votes Mark as Raila Trails

Several of media outlets are still struggling to tabulate the presidential election results even though they received permission from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to do so for reporting purposes.

Kenyans have endured a protracted wait as no media outlet has finished the process as of the third day after the conclusion of the voting.

Deputy President William Ruto has now surpassed the 7M mark, according to KTN News’ provisional presidential results as of 6 am on Saturday, , August 13, 2022.

This puts KTN News in the lead in the poll. William Ruto, the vice president running under the United Democratic Alliance, has received 6,99,067 votes.

This equals 50.2% of the total votes cast so far. Raila Odinga, leader of the Orange Democratic Party, comes in second with 6,659,476 votes, or 49.1% of the total cast.

George Wajackoyah, the presidential candidate for the Roots Party, comes in second with 57,308 votes totaled, or roughly 0.4%. David Mwaure comes in second with 0.24% of the total votes.
