Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was involved in a car crash on the evening of his team's Premier League win at
Burnley.
The incident is reported to have occurred after the England star left United's training ground. Erik ten Hag's squad had returned to Carrington by coach after
their 1-0 win, with Rashford playing the full 90 minutes at Turf Moor as captain
Bruno Fernandesscored the only goal of the game.
Reports indicate Rashford was driving his £700,000 Rolls Royce when the collision took place with another vehicle. Images of the aftermath have been shared on social media showing a dent to a car following the crash.
Rashford was shaken but both he and the other driver escaped unhurt following the accident and did not require emergency medical attention. His United side are due to return to action in midweek with a Carabao Cup game against
Crystal Palace.
Earlier on Saturday, United had secured a narrow but valuable victory at Burnley to get their season back on track. Ten Hag's side were coming off a run of three defeats on the spin in all competitions, but captain Fernandes delivered the crucial winner.
